TAR holds Public Order Maintenance Award Ceremony

The TAR Party Committee, TAR People’s Government and TAR People’s Congress held a grand award ceremony in Lhasa on January 2, 2018 to honour and award individuals for maintaining public order. The ceremony also signed the “2018-2020 Public Order Maintenance Responsibility Document” and delegated work to concerned individuals.

TAR Party Secretary Wu Yingjie, Deputy Secretary of TAR Party Committee and Chairman of TAR People’s Government Choedak/Chedak (Ch: Qi Zha la), Deputy Secretary of TAR Party Committee and Chairman of TAR People’s Congress Lobsang Gyaltsen, Executive Deputy Secretary of TAR Party Committee Ding Ye, Member of Standing Committee of TAR Party Committee and Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee He Wenhao, and other TAR leaders attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the meeting He Wenhao said party organizations and public order management departments all over TAR have started studying and implementing the spirit of the 19th Party Congress. This has ensured that grassroots governance has become more intricate, more effective and dynamic. “Science and technology” management systems are applied, intelligence methods are further improved and TAR’s public law and order has reached greater heights. He added that the TAR Party Organization and Departments at all levels should take Xi Jinping’s socialism with Chinese Characteristics as the guide and focus on maintaining stability and social harmony.[PDF]
