Karma Tenzin is a research fellow at the Tibet Policy Institute studying education policies in Tibet and its impact on the Tibetan people.
His research interests include the history of Tibetan education and its developments, education policy, bilingual education and the status of Tibetan language in Tibet.
Before joining TPI, he taught Political Science at the Tibetan Children’s Village, Gopalpur for five years and was the assistant headmaster for a year.
Karma Tenzin has an M.Phil. and an M.A in Political Science from Madras Christian College, University of Madras.
