Ambassador Dalip Mehta, a former Indian ambassador to Bhutan and the Central Asian Republics of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. He was the Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Dean in Foreign Service Institute, New Delhi till 2002. Dalip Mehta is a Trustee of the Dalai Lama’s Foundation for Universal Responsibility and a Director of the India-Bhutan Foundation. Ambassador Dalip Mehta gave a talk on the relevance of Tibet for regional security or the Security Environment.
