A highly proactive and innovative retired United Nations international development professional and leader with more than 23 years of programme and policy management experience in Burma, Sudan, Laos, Bangladesh, Nepal, India and Turkmenistan with extended stints in: Cambodia (mid 80s), Somalia and Kyrgyzstan. Following retirement in 2012, also undertook assignments (6-10 weeks) with UNICEF in Haiti; South Sudan; Jordan; Nigeria (6 months) and with Save the Children International on the Rohingya Response (Education Sector Coordinator) Nov to Dec 2017.
