Despite positive hopes pinned on Xi Jingping’s new leadership, the changes that we have been witnessing in china were either nil or negative. That’s how Dr Dibyesh Anand summed up his lecture on the rapid changes in China and its significance in Tibet, hosted at the Tibet Policy Institute.
Dibyesh Anand is an Associate Professor at London’s Westminster University, an expert on majority-minority relations in China and India, and the author of Geopolitical Exotica: Tibet in Western Imagination.
