Leading experts to discuss minority and diversity management with special focus on integration and disintegration
Two researchers from the Tibet Policy Institute attended summer school organised by the Institute of Minority Rights at the European Academy, Bolzano.
The summer school was held in Bolzano, Italy and partly in Müstair, Canton of Grisons (Switzerland), from 24 June – 26 June 2016. It was attended by two researchers from the Tibet Policy Insitute — Tenzin Palden and Tenzin Desal.
The summer school at the European Academy invites leading experts to discuss minority and diversity management with special focus on integration and disintegration.
“This theme of the summer school is particularly important considering changes and challenges we are facing at the global level,” the researchers from the Tibet Policy Institute said.
“The migrants arriving in Europe and the challenges the host and the migrants face are not uniquely a European problem but a global one.
“The lessons could be drawn from European and global experience and there is a possibility of explaining the plight of Tibetans through understanding their challenges and following their intellectual engagement.”
