The Tibet Policy Institute will organize a seven day workshop on Research Methodology and Asian Strategic Culture from 10 to 17 June 2019. Dr. Ramu Manivannan, Head and Professor, Department of Politics and Public Administration, University of Madras, is the key trainer of the workshop. The workshop will be categorized into two different thematic: Research Methodology and Asian Strategic Culture.
Research Methodology: A research method is a systematic steps for examining the research problems in the field of research study. The programme will provide a three day workshop on research methodology and will discuss on the research awareness and holistic approach of research methodology. This workshop will further examine the knowledge system and its approach toward research analysis. It also analyse the co-relation between knowledge system, education and research process. The day two of the workshop will discuss the research approach, research tools and technique and design. The day three will discuss on the research writing and awareness. This workshop provides a comprehensive understanding of the critical approach in the field of research. It will also help to frame the research statement, concept, design and structure.
Asian Political System and Strategic Culture: From day fourth to day sixth, the workshop will focus on the Asian political system, strategic culture and diplomatic analysis. It will examine the Asian Political thoughts and thinkers and how these thinkers shapes the landscape of Asian political system. It will furthermore emphasises on the strategic culture of China, India and Tibet and how the geopolitical importance of Tibet and the Tibetans in the context of the Sino-Indian diplomatic relations.
